Location:
100% remote. This is a United States based position, and candidates must reside in the continental United States to be eligible for employment.
Years Experience:
7+ years software development experience
Education:
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field
Security Clearance:
IBR is a federal contractor. Applicants must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance issued by the United States Postal Service (USPS). This agency handles and adjudicates the security clearance process.
NOTE:
United States Citizenship is required as part of the eligibility criteria to be able to obtain this type of security clearance.

Key Skills:
Software develop experience using Java, JavaScript, React, Gradle/Maven, HTML, CSS and other Object-Oriented Programming languages Experience in Architecture and CI/CD environment (ie. Docker, Ansible, Jenkins) and scripting languages (Python, Bash, Perl) on Linux servers or environments Azure Cloud experience and ability to ship a system end to end. Experience with Version Control Systems such as Git and/or Bitbucket Position Overview As a Software Engineer at IBR, you will play a key role in designing and implementing secure, next-generation solutions that support critical missions. As a member of our program supporting USPS, you will collaborate with technical leaders, business stakeholders, and a multi-disciplinary team to ensure solutions are scalable, secure and forward-thinking, while remaining aligned with organizational and program goals. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to technical strategy within a dynamic, mission-driven, and customer focused environment. Responsibilities Software development with Java, JavaScript, and various scripting languages Design data models and web APIs and creation of software tasks from system requirements Perform requirements analysis, design, development, unit, and integration testing of software, troubleshooting and debugging of the system Immediate responsibilities will include enhancing and maintaining the existing system as well as design, development, and documentation of new features Usage of Atlassian Tools for day-to-day tasks within the Scrum process Implement web services, data persistence access features and external interfaces Follow Agile software development methodology and team architecture standards Support in building and adjusting CI/CD pipelines within Azure Cloud Environment, deployments, and maintenance with changing needs and requirements Diagnose server and production issues on the host and implement solutions for cybersecurity Mentor junior level software engineers Qualifications Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field with software development experience Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Security Clearance 7+ years software development experience with 5+ years Java development experience and 2+ years Azure Cloud experience required Additional software development experience with developing user interfaces and front-end technology using CSS, HTML, JavaScript (jQuery, React) preferred Gradle experience preferred Experience with design, development, enhancement, troubleshooting and debugging of web applications Experience in Architecture and CI/CD environment (ie. Ansible and Jenkins preferred) and scripting languages (Python, Bash, Perl) on Linux servers or environments Experience with Version Control Systems such as Git and/or Bitbucket Experience developing and integrating complex software systems through the full SDLC Experience with Agile Scrum Strong attention to detail Strong written and verbal communication

Salary Range:
$115,000.00 - $140,000.00 USD annually. This salary range represents the anticipated range for this position at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on qualifications, experience, work location, internal equity, and business needs.
