Senior Software Engineer Join the Calibre™ R D Team at Siemens EDA We are looking for a highly motivated software engineer to work in the Calibre D2S division. You will be responsible for designing, developing, debugging and supporting advanced OPC and ILT solutions for semiconductor manufacturing with focuses on computational lithography and geometry, high-performance computing and GPU computing. About Us The Calibre™ family of tools is the industry leader in EDA/CAD solutions for semiconductor manufacturing, enabling simulations and diagnostics from the transistor to the package level. As the semiconductor industry continues its rapid growth, there is a critical demand for high-fidelity modeling and high-throughput numerical simulations to support the production of stable, high-volume chips at advanced technology nodes. Qualifications The ideal candidate should possess the following education and experience: Education & Background- PhD (or MS + 5+ years of research/industry experience) in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Applied Physics, or Engineering with expertise in:
- Scientific computing: Numerical algorithms and computational geometry.
- High-performance computing: GPU acceleration in CUDA platform, parallel and distributed processing.
- Software and Programming skills: Proficiency in C/C++, CUDA, Python, scripts, and debugger and profiling tools in Linux.
- AI/ML applications: Leveraging AI/ML to accelerate problem solving processes.
- Semiconductor knowledge (preferred but not required): Basic semiconductor manufacturing and lithography processes. Key Skills & Attributes
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a passion for tackling complex computational challenges.
- Ability to estimate software development tasks accurately and deliver on schedule.

The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
