Energy Utilities Pay•$55•$65 on W2 Job Summary We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with experience in both front-end and back-end development using modern technologies . The ideal candidate will support scalable, user-focused applications on cloud platforms and will be responsible for developing software solutions as well as troubleshooting, debugging, repairing, and upgrading complex software applications. This role requires collaborative problem-solving, attention to design, and a strong focus on product quality while working closely with team members in a shared development environment. Key Responsibilities Translate application storyboards, stories, and use cases into functional software solutions Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications Identify bottlenecks and bugs , and develop solutions to resolve them Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation Required Skills Bachelor's degree in computer science 5-7 years of related work experience in software engineering Strong experience with JavaScript including React.js and TypeScript Proficiency in Python development Experience using Visual Studio Code IDE Experience working with GitHub in a shared development environment Working knowledge of Java and C# Experience with AWS (Amazon Web Services) services and cloud-based development Knowledge of Windows Server, Windows Workstation, and basic Linux environments Preferred Qualifications Experience with Django framework Knowledge of Tomcat web services Experience with CI/CD automation pipelines Experience with PostgreSQL databases Exposure to Progressive Web Applications (PWAs) Strong communication and collaboration skills in team environments Work Environment Hybrid schedule : 3 days onsite and 2 days remote Candidates should be located within a reasonable commuting distance to Charlotte, NC Interview Process Initial virtual interview Follow-up discussion with the hiring team If this opportunity aligns with your experience and career interests, I'd be happy to discuss it further.
