The LinkedIn Web Infrastructure team is responsible for building and maintaining the company's core web technology stack, including frameworks, tools, libraries, and services. These technologies power the day-to-day development workflows of all web engineers at LinkedIn and form the foundation of the company's web ecosystem. Our mission is to provide scalable, robust, and developer-friendly technical solutions to all web product teams across LinkedIn, enabling them to build high-quality user experiences more efficiently. We continuously drive innovation in web technologies to ensure that LinkedIn's web platform remains industry-leading in performance, reliability, and developer productivity. We are currently focused on developing LinkedIn's next-generation product development framework, a strategic initiative aimed at significantly improving development velocity, unifying technical standards across teams, and building stronger foundational capabilities for the AI-driven future of web experiences.

Responsibilities:
  • You will own the front-end development for one or more of our products and collaborate with visual/interaction designers, other engineers, and product managers to launch new products, iterate on existing features, and build a world-class user experience.
  • You will implement cutting-edge technologies and will be writing state-of-the-art code to keep LinkedIn at the cutting edge of current technology.
  • Your specific expertise will be required to make the site delightful, secure, performant, and accessible to all our members.
Qualifications Basic Qualifications:
  • BA/BS in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent practical experience
  • 1+ years of industry experience in software design, development, and algorithm related solutions
  • Experience programming in languages such as Javascript, HTML, CSS, Python, Java, etc.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of relevant work experience .
  • MS or PhD in Computer Science or related technical discipline .

The pay range for this role is $104,000 to $171,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor. The total compensation package for this position may also include annual performance bonus, stock, benefits and/or other applicable incentive compensation plans.
