Job Description

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Software Engineer (Java ) for a contract position with a Leading Pharmacy Benefit Manager located in Eagan, MN. This is a contract opportunity.

Compensation:

$66.00 - $69.00 per hour, W2, based on qualifications

Position Overview:

This role is for an experienced Java developer with expertise in APIs and cloud platforms like AWS and GCP. The Software Engineer will be responsible for leading the design of technology solutions, ensuring they meet all resiliency, stability, and operational readiness requirements while supporting major initiatives like cloud transformation and API modernization.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead design to ensure the technology solutions meet all resiliency, stability, non-functional, functional and operational readiness use cases

Lead ongoing development, maintenance and support of existing systems and platforms

Manage work direction, lead, influence, and provide feedback to other team members

Participate in staffing plans to identify subject matter experts (SMEs) and provide feedback for staff performance reviews

Own technology solutions within area, including proactive monitoring and alerting, technological roadmap andmunication of overall health and future sustainability

Drive innovation and continuous improvement

Primary Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related area of study, or equivalentbination of education and/or relevant work experience

5+ years of back end Java development experience

Experience with APIs, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP)

SQL Experience

Ability to manage work direction and lead, influence, mentor, and provide feedback to others within team

Established presenter of technical and non-technical material adapted to the respective audience

Ability to transition abstract concepts into stable and supportable software solutions

Strong problem-solving and analysis skills

Excellent documentation skills

Must be eligible to work in the United States without need for work visa or residency sponsorship

Desired Skills:

Experience working in an environment with regulatorypliance requirements (HIPAA, PCI, etc.)

ious experience working in an Agile/Product Delivery model

ious experience in PBM / health care industry

Understanding of security implications of domain

Comfortable leading and mentoring others
