Job Description

Software Engineering Intern We're looking for a software engineering intern to help build out the production platform our utility clients use to run real field operations — a three-tier system (Python/FastAPI, React + TypeScript web, React Native mobile) on PostgreSQL/PostGIS and AWS. You'll work directly with our founder, shipping features that flow from the API through the database to both web and field-mobile clients. Responsibilities Build and extend features across the backend (FastAPI), web (React/TypeScript), and mobile (React Native/Expo) tiers. Design and harden

REST API

integrations with utility-industry systems, with typed contracts and clean transaction boundaries. Work with the PostgreSQL/PostGIS data layer and contribute to schema and query design. Support the AWS deployment and CI/CD pipeline (ECS Fargate, S3/CloudFront, RDS, GitHub Actions). Participate in code reviews and debugging; write clear technical docs. What we're looking for Pursuing a bachelor's or master's in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Strong in at least one of Python/FastAPI, React/TypeScript, or React Native, and eager to work across all three. Comfortable with relational databases and SQL; PostgreSQL/PostGIS a plus. Exposure to AWS and CI/CD is advantageous.

Pay:

$40.00 - $42.00 per hour
