The Collins Aerospace Avionics Tools organization is seeking an entry level Software Engineering candidate with a passion for problem solving. You will improve and develop new tools that increase consistency, efficiency, and productivity of product development and testing across avionics systems for internal and external customers. This is an exciting opportunity to begin your career in avionics and work with a variety of different aircraft domains. This position requires a candidate with a strong customer focus, highly effective communication skills, and the ability to prioritize and advance multiple objectives. This is an onsite based in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

What You Will Do:

Code, integrate, test, debug, and document complex database tools. Contribute to cross-functional team integration, verification, and validation activities. Participate in software code and requirements reviews. Contribute to software engineering requirements definition for well-defined software designs. Report status of support requests and assigned tasks. Effectively interact and build trust with peers from varied backgrounds and different engineering teams.

Qualifications You Must Have:

Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM). The salary range for this role is 57,200 USD - 108,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
