Post Sales Field Engineer Location:
San Francisco (Hybrid) What you'll do Own technical onboarding and implementation for enterprise customers, from kickoff through successful deployment Translate customer requirements into practical implementation plans, configurations, and best practices Configure and optimize integrations across developer workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud environments Lead technical trainings, workshops, and enablement sessions to drive adoption Run configuration and architecture reviews to improve performance, usage, and long-term value Own complex technical escalations, partnering with Support, Product, and Engineering to resolve issues quickly Identify opportunities to improve customer outcomes, adoption, and platform usage Bring customer feedback, technical challenges, and feature requests directly to Product and Engineering Partner closely with Pre-Sales to ensure a seamless handoff from evaluation through implementation and ongoing success Build internal playbooks, documentation, and best practices to scale the customer experience Stay current on AI-powered development, developer tooling, cloud, and emerging technologies What you'll bring 5+ years in a customer-facing technical role, with 2+ years in a fast-paced startup or high-growth environment Strong experience owning enterprise onboarding, implementation, or post-sales technical engagements Technical depth across software development tools, platforms, and modern engineering workflows Comfortable working from the command line, troubleshooting issues, and debugging technical problems Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure Ability to work confidently with both technical teams and senior business stakeholders Strong project management and organizational skills across multiple customer engagements Excellent communication skills with a high level of ownership and initiative A problem-solving mindset and genuine focus on customer outcomes Willingness to mentor teammates and share technical knowledge through training and collaboration Bonus points Experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, GitHub Actions, or similar cloud-native and DevOps tooling Experience supporting production environments and managing technical escalations Experience designing, reviewing, or troubleshooting enterprise system architectures Experience with AI, developer tooling, code quality, or software engineering platforms
