Systems Engineer (Configuration Management) -
Contract Company:

Schedule:
40 hours/week Position Overview System One is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer (Configuration Management) to support advanced nuclear power plant design programs. This role will focus on implementing and improving product-based configuration management (CM) processes to ensure consistency, traceability, and compliance across complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects. Key Responsibilities Lead development and implementation of configuration management (CM) processes Support product-based CM , including: Bills of materials (BOMs) Dataset traceability KPI development Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve design processes and reduce risk Enhance and support change control processes Partner with PLM teams to implement improvements within Aras Innovator Ensure compliance with:
NQA-1 ASME NRC
regulations
ISO 9001
Communicate effectively across technical and non-technical teams Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field 10+ years of Configuration Management experience Strong experience with: CM standards (CM2, EIA-649) Product structures & BOMs PLM systems ( Aras Innovator preferred ) Experience developing and implementing CM processes and procedures Background in highly regulated environments (NQA-1, 10 CFR 50 Appendix B preferred) Strong technical writing, communication, and organizational skills Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities Preferred Qualifications Experience in nuclear or power generation industry Configuration Management certification (CM2-C or similar) Familiarity with DOE regulations (10 CFR Part 810) Additional Requirements Ability to travel up to 25% Must be authorized to work in the U.S. System One, and its subsidiaries including Joulé and Mountain Ltd., are leaders in delivering outsourced services and workforce solutions across North America.
