Approximately 20 hours per week; full-time hours may be available during travel periods Introduction We are seeking a senior Workday Accounting Center Lead to support a net-new Workday Financials implementation for a complex, high-volume organization. The consultant will lead Accounting Center design and configuration while partnering with functional, technical, and business stakeholders throughout the implementation. The initial phase will focus heavily on solution design and configuration. This role requires active certifications in both Workday Accounting Center and Prism Analytics. Day-to-Day Responsibilities Lead Workday Accounting Center design, configuration, and implementation activities using scalable architecture and recommended practices. Design accounting rules, data transformations, mappings, enrichment logic, and journal outputs for complex, high-volume transaction data. Partner with Prism, Financials, integration, and business teams to develop datasets and data pipelines supporting Accounting Center. Facilitate design sessions, document decisions, identify risks and dependencies, and provide functional leadership throughout testing and deployment. Required Skills & Qualifications Active Workday Accounting Center Certification and Workday Prism Analytics Certification . Significant experience leading Workday Accounting Center implementations, including solution design and hands-on configuration. Deep understanding of Accounting Center rules, transformations, mappings, enrichment, journal creation, and financial data processing. Strong client-facing communication skills with the ability to lead workshops and translate complex accounting requirements into scalable Workday solutions. Must be based in the United States, work on a W2 basis, and not require employment sponsorship. Preferred Skills & Qualifications Experience integrating point-of-sale data or other high-volume transactional data into Workday. Experience building Prism datasets and pipelines that support Accounting Center processing and reporting. Previous experience supporting complex Workday Financials implementations within a large consulting environment.
