Job Description

The position of DevOps Engineer has the primary purpose of providing reliable platforms for running, building, deploying, and maintaining software and applications that support business processes. In addition, this role is responsible to uphold our core values: Ethics, Engagement, and Excellence.
Essential Functions:
Builds and maintains CI/CD processes for in-house developed applications Perform root cause analysis of production issues Work with the development team to architect scalable and maintainable solutions Automate manual IT processes Maintain documentation for servers/solutions in use Maintain source control software Provide support to developers Special assignments requested by
Technical Leadership Qualification/Requirements:
Working knowledge of administering public cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure)Working knowledge of databases and SQL Good knowledge of a scripting language (Bash, Python, PowerShell, etc.) Experience with a configuration management solution (Ansible, Puppet, Salt, etc.) Experience with a container orchestration platform (Kubernetes, Docker Swarm, etc.) Experience managing Windows and GNU/Linux systems Effective communication, creativity, problem solving, and logical thinking are all necessary skills.
Education/Experience:
Bachelors Degree preferred; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
