Job Description
Position Summary This role is essential in ensuring the quality, usability, and efficiency of internal applications across multiple platforms, including MRC, Laravel, ShowplacePRO, and ERP systems. The Application Support & Testing Specialist will work closely with developers and cross-functional teams to identify bugs, recommend improvements, and support help desk operations. Essential Functions Other duties may be assigned, requested, or directed. Application Testing Test applications and reports in systems such as MRC, Laravel PHP Framework, SQL Server Reporting Services, etc., simulating end-user workflows to evaluate process flow and user experience. Create process flow documentation within systems including the ShowplacePro order entry platform and ERP systems. Identify and report bugs, recommending enhancements to improve application usability and process efficiency. Collaborate with developers and other departments to ensure functionality and usability requirements are met. Support Participate in data entry and product configuration processes for the digital catalog. Triage and resolve Help Desk tickets and customer-reported bugs, escalating issues when necessary. Communicate with internal users, Sales Reps, and Dealers to resolve issues, identify feature requests, and gather feedback for stakeholders and software developers. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years' experience in the Information Technology field. Experience in application testing, particularly within MRC and Laravel environments. Familiarity with RPG programming and help desk workflows. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
