Required Education/ExperienceBachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field preferred; candidates currently pursuing a relevant degree or with equivalent practical experience will also be considered.

MuleSoft, Salesforce, Databricks certifications are a plus.
Working knowledge of Databricks, including notebooks, SQL, data pipelines, and data engineering workflows.
Experience with Salesforce Data Cloud/Data360 concepts, including data streams, harmonized data models, calculated insights, and governed data access.
Strong Python development skills for automation, data processing, API integration, and scripting.
Experience designing, consuming, testing, and troubleshooting RESTful APIs.
Understanding of authentication, secure data handling, logging, error handling, and API performance considerations.
Ability to work with structured and unstructured data from systems such as Salesforce, databases, documents, and external data sources.
Familiarity with SQL, JSON, XML, and common data transformation practices.
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently in a part-time capacity while communicating progress clearly.
Strong understanding of API-led connectivity, reusable integration patterns, and secure API design.
Ability to write clean, maintainable Python code for automation, data transformation, and system integration tasks.
Comfort working with Databricks for data engineering, analytics support, and pipeline development.
Familiarity with Data360/Data Cloud concepts such as data ingestion, harmonization, calculated insights, and governed reporting layers.
Ability to troubleshoot data movement, API failures, mapping issues, authentication errors, and integration performance concerns.
Strong documentation habits, including technical designs, data mappings, API specifications, and operational support notes.
Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Positive, professional attitude with a willingness to learn new tools and adapt as Sterlings technology stack evolves.
Develop Python scripts and services to automate data processing, system integration, reporting support, and operational workflows.
Support Databricks-based data engineering activities, including notebooks, SQL queries, pipeline logic, data validation, and documentation.
Assist with Data360/Data Cloud work, including data ingestion, calculated insights, schema mapping, and validation of business-ready metrics.
Build and maintain RESTful APIs and integration endpoints that are secure, reliable, reusable, and well documented.
Troubleshoot integration issues, data quality concerns, failed jobs, API errors, and system handoff problems.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand process gaps and translate business requirements into practical technical solutions.
Document integration designs, API specifications, data mappings, support procedures, and technical decisions.
Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment support, and continuous improvement of Sterlings integration and data environment.
Support automation initiatives that improve productivity, reduce manual work, and provide better visibility into sales, operations, and customer data.

We are looking for a part-time developer with hands-on experience in MuleSoft, Databricks, Data360, APIs, and Python. This role will support integration, automation, and data enablement initiatives across Sterlings internal systems, including Salesforce, Data Cloud/Data360, Databricks, and related business applications.
