What You'll Do - You'll Make the Moment Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and develop new features for the Cracker Barrel Android application. Work closely with UX/UI designers to ensure the user interface and experience align with Cracker Barrel's brand identity and standards. Build and maintain scalable, high-performance Android applications using modern development practices. Integrate with external APIs and data sources to provide dynamic content and functionality within the app. Develop and execute unit tests and automated tests to ensure robustness, reliability, and performance. Ensure the performance, quality, responsiveness, and security of Android applications. Maintain code quality, organization, documentation, and CI/CD automation practices. Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and QA teams throughout the development lifecycle. Continuously monitor app performance, crash analytics, and user feedback to identify opportunities for optimization and enhancement. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. 1 - 2 years of Proven experience developing and deploying Android applications to the Google Play Store. Strong proficiency in Kotlin and experience with Java. Experience with Android SDK, Android Studio, and Jetpack libraries. Knowledge of Android architecture patterns such as MVVM and Clean Architecture. Experience integrating RESTful APIs and backend services. Familiarity with mobile application testing frameworks and best practices. Experience with Git and modern source control workflows. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities. Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
