Software Engineer#26-05324 Charlotte, NC Chandler, AZ MN Irving, TX On-site Contract Starts 5/23/2026 Ends 5/22/2027 Job Description Genesis10 is currently seeking a Software Engineer for a 12+ month contract to hire opportunity with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC, Irving, TX, Charlotte, NC, Minneapolis, MN, or Chandler, AZ. In this role, you will drive the development of a critical cybersecurity solution focused on strengthening security across the enterprise. This position provides technical leadership, influences secure design patterns, and ensures alignment with cybersecurity and data architecture strategies. Your work will directly support the mitigation of high-priority cyber risks and the protection of sensitive enterprise data.

Responsibilities:

Lead architectural design and development of cybersecurity applications Act as a key participant in developing standards andpanywide best practices for engineeringplex and large-scale technology solutions Build high quality software using JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and .js Integrate secure coding practices and partner with cybersecurity teams on risk mitigation Review and analyzeplex, large-scale technology solutions for tactical and strategic business objectives Develop APIs and data integrations using GraphQL, MongoDB, and SQL (MSSQL preferred) Support CI/CD delivery pipelines using GitHub Actions and Jenkins Deploy and operate solutions on Kubernetes using configuration as code (YAML/TOML) Collaborate and consult with key technical experts, senior technology team, and external industry groups to resolveplex technical issues and achieve goals Lead projects, teams, or serve as a peer mentor

Requirements:

3+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or abination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education 3+ years' experience in JavaScript and related frameworks (Node.js, React, TypeScript) Experience with cloud technologies (GCP preferred), Mongo, Autosys, or Nomad Desired skills: Proficiency with .js, secure coding tools (Black Duck, Checkmarx), and artifact repositories (Artifactory/Nexus) Strong experience with MongoDB (MQL), SQL, GraphQL, and database CLI tools Hands on experience with Kubernetes, GitHub Actions/Jenkins, and packaging tools such as npm/Yarn Ability to work collaboratively across cybersecurity, architecture, and engineering teams Python proficiency and basic Java familiarity (for automation support) Experience with large data sets, system administration, or networking fundamentals Exposure to languages such as Go, Rust, C, or C++ Experience with Harness or enterprise UIponent libraries (e.g., Kendo for React) Pay range: $31.09 - $39.09 per hour Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
