Plano, TX Job Description We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Java and Go to build and enhance scalable, cloud-native enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have strong Java expertise and the ability to learn and work with Go. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java and Go. Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices. Build serverless and containerized applications using AWS Lambda and AWS Fargate. Work with NoSQL databases, particularly Amazon DynamoDB. Develop, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for automated build, testing, and deployment. Troubleshoot production issues and improve application performance, reliability, and scalability. Collaborate with engineering teams to design clean, maintainable, and highly available solutions. Leverage modern AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code or Windsurf to improve developer productivity. Required Skills Strong hands-on experience with Java and enterprise application development. Hands-on experience with Go/Golang is preferred. Strong Java developers with the ability and willingness to learn Go will also be considered. Experience with microservices and REST APIs. Experience with NoSQL databases, preferably DynamoDB. Hands-on experience with AWS services including: AWS Lambda Amazon DynamoDB AWS Fargate Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines. Strong understanding of software development lifecycle, coding standards, testing, and deployment practices. Experience with Claude Code, Windsurf, GitHub Copilot, or similar AI-assisted development tools is a plus.
