Application Development Technical Lead

Experteer Overview As an Application Development Technical Lead, you guide the technical direction of software projects to support Fisher Investments' global growth. You'll lead medium- to large-scale initiatives, collaborate across multiple teams, and mentor junior developers. You'll shape architecture, design specifications, and DevOps practices while ensuring secure, scalable solutions. This role offers impact through enterprise design decisions and cross-functional collaboration in a fast-paced, inclusive environment. You'll work to deliver strategic software solutions that power the firm's technology roadmap.

• Lead the technical development of software from design to user acceptance for sizable, cross-department projects
• Define architecture, timelines, and resolve design or implementation issues
• Collaborate on solution architecture, cloud services, DevOps, and security practices in distributed environments
• Make technical direction decisions and contribute to Enterprise design recommendations
• Present options to stakeholders and align with Project Management for client expectations
• Coordinate with QA, Infrastructure, PMO, Release Management, Information Security, Solution Architecture, and Service Desk
• Develop Technical Design Specifications and create process diagrams
• Create and modify code to meet specifications; lead code reviews and drive continuous improvement
• Mentor junior developers and participate in candidate selection as needed Tasks
• 10+ years as a technical leader in software applications development and support
• Software architecture experience with engagement in enterprise architecture for design and implementation
• Experience with enterprise applications development
• Hands-on experience with C#, .NET
• Extensive API integration experience, including secure API integration and lifecycle management
• Extensive experience with Azure platform technologies (APIM, Service Bus, Function Apps, Logic Apps, Cosmos DB) and high-availability enterprise apps
• Experience with test automation concepts
• Experience with IaC and modern DevOps practices
• Strong understanding of SDLC supporting Agile and Waterfall
• Bachelor's degree in MIS, Computer Science, Math, or related field, or equivalent
