What You Will Be Doing As a Software Engineer Asc, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Develop Software
• Integrate features/algorithms into C/C++ applications
• Plan, conduct, and coordinate software development activities
• Design, develop, document, test, and debug software that contains logical and mathematical solutions to business/mission problems or questions in computer language for solutions by means of data processing equipment.
• Apply knowledge of computer hardware and software, subject matter to be programmed in business/mission applications, information processing techniques used, and information gathered from system users to develop software.
• Correct program errors, prepares operating instructions, compiles documentation of program development, and analyzes system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls.

• Must be working towards a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related software discipline
• Demonstrated software development experience in C++.
• Experience working Operating systems / familiarity with OS concepts.

This may include:

Linux, Windows, Unix, VxWorks, Operating Systems Coursework, etc.

• Ability to obtain DoD Clearance.
• Must be US Citizen. ## Desired Skills
• Hardware experience (Arduino, STMxx, Xilinx, any FPGA Programmable Software.
• Strong understanding of C++ Object Oriented design and inheritance concepts.
• Understanding of basic multi-threading concepts.
• Working with large code base.
• DevSecOps tool chain experience (this may include Git, GitHub, BitBucket).
• Software configuration management.
• Full software life-cycle development.
• Software integration and debugging techniques.
• Demonstrated software development experience in C / Python.
• Familiarity with Agile practices.

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
