What You Will Be Doing As a Software Engineer Asc, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Develop Software
- Integrate features/algorithms into C/C++ applications
- Plan, conduct, and coordinate software development activities
- Design, develop, document, test, and debug software that contains logical and mathematical solutions to business/mission problems or questions in computer language for solutions by means of data processing equipment.
- Apply knowledge of computer hardware and software, subject matter to be programmed in business/mission applications, information processing techniques used, and information gathered from system users to develop software.
- Correct program errors, prepares operating instructions, compiles documentation of program development, and analyzes system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls.

This position is in Dallas. Discover more about our Dallas, Texas location. ## Basic Qualifications- Must be working towards a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related software discipline
- Demonstrated software development experience in C++.
- Experience working Operating systems / familiarity with OS concepts.
This may include:
Linux, Windows, Unix, VxWorks, Operating Systems Coursework, etc.- Ability to obtain DoD Clearance.
- Must be US Citizen. ## Desired Skills
- Hardware experience (Arduino, STMxx, Xilinx, any FPGA Programmable Software.
- Strong understanding of C++ Object Oriented design and inheritance concepts.
- Understanding of basic multi-threading concepts.
- Working with large code base.
- DevSecOps tool chain experience (this may include Git, GitHub, BitBucket).
- Software configuration management.
- Full software life-cycle development.
- Software integration and debugging techniques.
- Demonstrated software development experience in C / Python.
- Familiarity with Agile practices.
Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range:
$67000.00- $124400.
