Job Description

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Mid Level Full Stack Developer - Hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in Addison, TX or Jersey City, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

We are seeking a skilled Mid Level Full Stack Developer with strong experience in building modern, scalable web applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in ReactJS for front-end development and Java (Spring Boot preferred) for backend services, along with a solid understanding of databases, Kafka microservices and cloud-native architectures. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining full-stack features from user interface to data persistence, ensuring performance, security, and high-quality user experiences.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of professional software development experience in full stack focused roles
• Strong proficiency in ReactJS, includingponent-based architecture, state management (e.g., Redux, Context API), hooks, and responsive UI design
• Hands-on experience with Java, preferably using Spring Boot for building RESTful APIs and backend services
• Hands-on experience on OpenShift Containers
• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Solid understanding of databases, including writing SQL queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning
• Experience building and consuming RESTful web services
• Understanding of HTML5, Kafka, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and modern front-end tooling (Webpack, Babel, npm/yarn)
• Knowledge of version control systems, particularly Git
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum software development methodologies
• Ability to troubleshoot, debug, and optimize both front end and back endponents
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate in a cross-functional team environment

Desired skills:

Knowledge of UI/UX best practices and ability to collaborate with designers

Experience working with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, etc.)

Knowledge of performance optimization for both UI and backend layers

Experience with unit testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, JUnit, Mockito)

Exposure to automated front end build and testing tools (Webpack, Vite, Cypress, Playwright)

Familiarity with database performance tuning and PL/SQL optimization

Experience with state management libraries such as Redux Toolkit, Zustand, or MobX

Understanding of security best practices, including authentication/authorization (OAuth2, JWT), secure coding, and data protection

Ability to work in a DevOps-oriented environment and support deployment automation

Strongmunication skills and ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders

Experience working in large enterprise or financial services environment

Pay range: $58.26 - $66.26 per hour
