Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Data Science, or related field preferred Experience with programming languages such as Python, SQL, JavaScript, or similar preferred Experience working with APIs, automation tools, and system integrations preferred Experience with AI platforms, machine learning tools, prompt engineering, or workflow automation preferred Working knowledge of database systems and data management processes preferred Understanding of secure data handling and cybersecurity best practices preferred Outstanding verbal and written communication skills Ability to build and maintain working relationships Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
Primary Purpose:
Contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of AI-driven systems and automation solutions that support district administrative and operational functions. This position plays a vital role in building AI agents, integrating them into enterprise systems, monitoring performance, and assisting in ongoing enhancements to ensure reliable and secure AI operations.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain AI agents, automation workflows, and intelligent system integrations. Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to understand operational needs and translate them into technical solutions. Assist in designing, testing, and deploying AI solutions within the district technology environment. Support API development and integration between AI systems and district platforms (SIS, LMS, ERP, HR, finance, and other enterprise systems). Monitor AI system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements to enhance reliability and output quality. Assist in managing data pipelines and ensuring secure data exchange between systems. Contribute to documentation of system configurations, workflows, and development standards. Support continuous improvement efforts by researching and evaluating emerging AI tools and technologies. Assist in maintaining compliance with district data governance, privacy, and cybersecurity standards.
