Full Stack Developer Trading & Analytics

Job Summary Our client is seeking a Full Stack Developer to join their team! This is a growth position supporting a Trading & Analytics platform within an Oil & Gas company. The team works closely with Quantitative Analysts and Analytics Developers who build complex models and calculations. This development team is responsible for taking those outputs and exposing them to traders and analysts through a global trading application. The hiring team is looking for candidates who can quickly understand and communicate within the trading and quantitative analytics environment. The environment is highly collaborative and operates within an Agile framework. The organization is investing heavily in AI-enabled development and is seeking someone who is adaptable, learns quickly, and embraces new technologies and ways of working. Third-party vendors may submit candidates for this role. Candidates who require H-1B visa sponsorship will be considered. Core Responsibilities Design, develop, and support full-stack applications for a global trading platform Build and maintain Python backend services and React front-end applications Integrate quantitative models and analytics outputs into user-facing applications Collaborate with Quantitative Analysts, Product Owners, and Traders to deliver business functionality Participate in Agile ceremonies and manage work through Azure DevOps (ADO) Contribute to CI/CD processes and source control best practices Support ongoing enhancements and expansion of the trading platform Required Skills/Experience (Must-Haves) Full Stack Development experience Python (Backend Development) React (Frontend Development) GitHub CI/CD experience Azure Azure DevOps (ADO), Jira, Kanban, or similar work management tools Snowflake SQL Databricks Preferred Skills/Experience (Nice-to-Haves)

Preferred Industry Background:

Financial Services, Trading, Hedge Funds, Quantitative Analytics Candidates should be familiar with concepts such as: Hedging, Long/Short Positions, Sharpe Ratio, Pricing, Trading Volumes, and Market Analytics Direct experience within trading organizations is not mandatory, but familiarity with the terminology and concepts is highly desirable Key Competencies & Behaviors Be collaborative team players Set realistic expectations and consistently deliver Learn quickly and adapt to new technologies Demonstrate strong communication skills with both technical and business stakeholders Be comfortable working in a fast-paced Agile environment

Compensation & Benefits Pay Range:

The approximate pay range for this position is between $90.00 and $115.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
