Job Description

HTRI seeks an individual to develop, maintain, and enhance HTRI engineering software, including the user interfaces, via a number of different technologies. This position is located at our Navasota, Texas headquarters. Principal responsibilities Write web applications to interface with new or existing databases using C#, Python, SQL, and JavaScript Develop front-end/back-end applications interfacing Web APIs Work collaboratively with team members to resolve bugs in existing codebases Configure local development environments and deploy changes to production Document software implementation details using diagrams and coding logic flowcharts Test bug fixes and requirement implementations Gain understanding of product architectures and constituent technologies Qualifications BS in Computer Science or bachelor's degree with professional web development experience Implementation experience in at least two of the following:
C/C++, C
#, Python, Ruby, JavaScript Experience with SQL and general database knowledge Familiarity with Cloud Services (AWS, Azure) Working knowledge of Azure DevOps or similar version control systems Preferred but not essential MS in Computer Science IaaS, PaaS, or SaaS experience Understanding of back-end database design Understanding of object-relational mapping abstractions Individual must possess authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
