Job Description

Application Engineer Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Application Engineer to serve as a critical link between sales, engineering, and project management teams. In this role, you will ensure accurate specification, estimation, and execution of electrical gear and related products while delivering exceptional technical support to customers. Hours are M-F 7a-6p.
Salary Range:
$55k-$65k DOE Key Responsibilities Act as the technical liaison between sales, engineering, and project management to support successful project execution Review and interpret customer specifications, electrical schematics, and single-line diagrams to develop accurate cost estimates and proposals Support sales and estimating teams by researching standards, documenting requirements, and preparing detailed quotations Ensure all sales orders meet contract requirements, align with company capabilities, and accurately reflect scope and pricing Oversee technical design processes, including material selection, documentation, and bill of materials development Provide technical guidance to procurement, engineering, and manufacturing teams to maintain project alignment Serve as the primary technical contact for customers, addressing inquiries, clarifications, and changes throughout the project lifecycle Monitor project performance to ensure compliance with
ISO 9001
standards, cost targets, and customer expectations Collaborate with project managers to track manufacturing progress, resolve potential field issues, and support after-sales activities such as training and warranty management Prepare and maintain project documentation, including submittals, drawings, manuals, and as-built packages Continuously improve estimation accuracy, processes, and execution strategies through analysis and customer feedback Qualifications & Skills Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, electrical schematics, and technical specifications Experience with estimating, quoting, and pricing for electrical gear or related products Proficiency with MRP systems, CAD software, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Strong analytical skills for contract review, risk assessment, and compliance with industry standards Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional, detail-focused approach Ability to manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines and budget requirements Understanding of
ISO 9001
quality standards and their application in engineering and project environments Experience working directly with customers, including technical support and guidance Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Science, or Engineering Technology) or equivalent hands-on experience in electrical manufacturing Preferred Qualifications Korean language proficiency is highly desirable Apply today! #1688CC
