Torch Technologies is seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer supporting the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center Armament Directorate Munitions Division (AFLCMC/EBH) at Hill AFB, UT . This position supports the government in applying advanced engineering principles to the design, development, integration, and sustainment of software-intensive systems across the full acquisition lifecycle. This role involves working closely with program offices, engineers, and cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, mission-critical capabilities that meet performance, operational, and mission requirements. As a Senior Software Engineer your duties include, but are not limited to the following: Support engineering activities across all phases of the DoW acquisition lifecycle (Materiel Solution Analysis through Operations & Support) Apply software engineering principles to support system design, development, integration, and sustainment efforts Support requirements development, analysis, traceability, and verification for software and system-level capabilities Perform system design, integration, and technical analysis to ensure performance and mission effectiveness Develop and review technical documentation, including system specifications, interface control documents, and engineering reports Support technical reviews and program milestone activities (e.g., SRR, PDR, CDR) Collaborate with program management, logistics, test, and cybersecurity teams to ensure integrated system performance Analyze system performance and recommend improvements to enhance functionality, reliability, and maintainability Support risk identification, analysis, and mitigation planning for technical and program risks Provide technical input to acquisition documentation and program decision-making processes
