This is an on-site position in Logan, Utah. We are looking for a mid-level Software Developer to join our team. Our team focuses on building each other up by sharing knowledge and encouragement through the development process! iWorQ's developers focus on the benefits our solutions offer to our clients—solutions that save people time and enhance their daily experiences. You'll work closely with each developer on the team and be able to receive and share knowledge constantly. Preferred Skills and Experience Minimum 3 years experience developing applications in PHP (Laravel experience is a plus) or similar Minimum 3 years experience developing solutions with JavaScript, jQuery, Vue.js, AWS or similar Working knowledge of object-oriented programming Working knowledge of MSSQL and PostgreSQL Linux experience Knowledge of Git Experience in
REST API
built solutions Education related to coding (BootCamp, certificate, degree) Accomplished multiple solo projects outside of school Knowledge of SMS communication with Twilio would make you a standout candidate, though we welcome applicants without it Responsibilities Collaborate with Product and Development teams to enhance and refine software products Learn best practices in scalability, testing, performance, and security when building and designing solutions Create scopes of work and accurately estimate timelines based on the needs of the product managers and Development team Effectively communicate with QA and UI/UX teams to deliver complete, high-quality solutions. Maintain and improve existing code, including fixing bugs Learn a legacy product and follow iWorQ coding standards Give a demonstration of the UI of previous projects and show code repositories of previous projects
