Responsiblities:
Perform a broad range of network system engineering and integration activities focused on solution development from requirements analysis, solution design, integration, verification/validation, implementation, to documentation and sustainment, involving hardware, software, and user support activities. This is a deep technical position performing enterprise level survey and wired/wireless network design as well as hands on implementation of systems. You will be working on all aspects of enterprise network engineering, to include routers, switches, firewalls, wireless access points, etc. Advanced troubleshooting support to resolve network issues will be required.- Build solution designs and solution development for various network devices to include but not limited to LAN, WAN, Video services, Wireless and 5G LTE.
- Experience in building/validating List of Materials (LOM) for project implementation
- Demonstrate you are well versed in Command Line applications, Microsoft Visio, and subnetting
- Show aptitude for solution validation and verification, documentation, and deployment of new and or parallel systems.
- Resolve CATI, CATII and Cat
III STIG
vulnerabilities- Manage in-depth install and configuration of firewalls, VPNs, Virtual Machines, Servers, Routers & Switches
- Provide assessment, design, implementation, integration, testing and troubleshooting network systems such as OSPF, BGP, port security and spanning tree
- Assist the customer with architectural changes and requirements.
- Develop detailed network implementation documentation, configurations, and topologies.
Job Requirements Qualifications:
- DoD 8140 Cyber IT Workforce compliant
- Professional Level Certifications relevant to one or more of the technology areas listed in "Responsibilities" (.ie CCIE, ACX, etc.)
- Computing Environment Experience with the following and professional level certifications in at least one:
- Design (Cisco Certified Architect, Cisco CCIE, CCDA, etc)
- Network routers & switches (Cisco) to include virtualized versions
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Networking, or Systems Engineering (or qualifying expertise) with 12-15 years of experience
- Experience implementing Software Defined WAN (SD-WAN) technology
- MS Degree in management/technical discipline (preferred) with 9-11 years of experience
- Active Secret or above Clearance desired
- Extensive background in Network Engineering centric to Cisco device hardware, to include management systems like ISE and DNA Center
- Demonstratable understanding of DoD Information Technology acquisitions
- Experience in implementing network security operations concepts, incident response concepts, network monitoring solutions, and vulnerability management concepts as applicable to areas listed in "Responsibilities"
- Strong written and verbal communications-presentation skills
- Ability to interact with and present to C-Suite and Senior-level customers
- Must meet eligibility requirements to access sensitive information, which requires US citizenship
- Ability for 50 % travel as required
- An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
