Position Description:
MI Technical Solutions is seeking a SharePoint Developer to join its team. In this role, the SharePoint Developer is responsible for the design, development, customization, and sustainment of SharePoint-based collaboration tools, Power Platform solutions, and enterprise information architecture.
Responsibilities:
Serve as an Administrator/Owner for SharePoint Online and SharePoint environments Design, build, deploy, and maintain custom SharePoint solutions to improve user experience, data management, and operational efficiency Develop dashboards, performance metrics, and interactive reporting tools using Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate Customize SharePoint functionality using JavaScript, XML, HTML, and other scripting tools Integrate SharePoint solutions with Microsoft 365 services (Teams, Outlook, OneDrive, Flankspeed, etc.) Implement and enforce security best practices, governance controls, permissions management, and cross-site collection functions Support Information Management (IM) and Knowledge Management (KM) initiatives to improve communication and mission readiness Provide technical writing, documentation, end-user support, and training for all SharePoint-based solutions Collaborate with government stakeholders to gather requirements and translate mission needs into scalable IT solutions
Requirements:
Must already possess and maintain an active Secret Clearance Bachelor's degree in computer science or information technology, or related field 2+ years of progressive development experience with SharePoint Online and Microsoft Power Platform DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II certification (e.g., CompTIA Security+ CE) Working knowledge of web development technologies including JavaScript, HTML, ASP.NET, XML, jQuery, and REST services Experience working in agile development methodologies and performing testing/debugging Strong technical writing ability and documentation expertise Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to articulate technical concepts to non-technical users We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
