Long-Term Contract Position Overview We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer with strong expertise in Node.js, AWS, serverless architecture, and microservices to join a data management engineering team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience designing, developing, deploying, and monitoring cloud-based, serverless applications and data solutions . This role requires strong hands-on development skills, particularly with Node.js and AWS services , along with experience building scalable microservices and full-stack applications. The engineer will work closely with technical teams and business stakeholders to develop solutions that improve data quality, automation, scalability, and operational efficiency . Key Responsibilities Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable cloud-based applications. Build and maintain serverless applications and microservices using AWS . Develop backend services and APIs using Node.js, JavaScript, or TypeScript . Develop full-stack solutions using Node.js and React.js . Design and implement distributed and event-driven architectures. Work with AWS services including Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, SNS/SQS, RDS, CloudWatch, and IAM. Build monitoring and observability solutions for high-volume and high-frequency data services. Implement CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes. Develop infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) . Participate in architecture and technical design discussions. Create technical specifications, documentation, and unit tests. Troubleshoot production issues and continuously improve application performance and reliability. Collaborate effectively with Agile/Scrum teams. Leverage AI coding assistants and autonomous AI agents to accelerate development, testing, and automation while maintaining full ownership and understanding of the code.
