Job Requirements King George, VA Secret Polygraph Unspecified Career Level not specified Salary not specified Join Premium to unlock estimated salaries Job Description TMC Technologies is looking for a Software Engineer to join our team providing Computer Program Engineering Services (CPES) on the AEGIS Combat System at the Naval Surface Warfare Center in Dahlgren, VA. This is a full time, on site position that will require at least an interim Secret clearance to start. This position is available immediately.
Tasking includes:
Software integration planning and testing with combat systems; Establishing and maintaining software development schedules and monitoring the technical progress of computer program module development toward these schedules; Utilizing computer program development tracking tools that capture all new development requirements, tracks computer program defects, and accurately reflects current implementation status; Job Requirements Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree in an engineering, computer science, mathematics or physical sciences discipline. Five (5) years general software engineering experience in the areas of computer program development Three (3) years of which shall be specific experience in combat systems software architecture design and development. Demonstrated experience includes conducting and coordinating individual projects; designing, developing, and maintaining complex, real time combat system computer programs; one or more software languages including Ada, C, C++, Java, and Python; We are equal opportunity/affirmative action employers, committed to diversity in the workplace.
