Job Description

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking an onsite DevOps Engineer to join a government consulting firm based in Springfield, VA. The DevOps engineer will work on cutting-edge cloud platforms to support the intelligence community and must hold an active TS/SCI CI-Poly clearance. Responsibilities of the DevOps Engineer includes: Build, automate, and maintain secure AWS (C2S/GovCloud) cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to support scalable and repeatable environments Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across systems, applications, and network layers Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and security teams to streamline deployments Monitor system health and performance using tools such as CloudWatch and Kibana Qualifications of the DevOps Engineer includes: Bachelor's degree plus 6 years of experience OR Associate's degree plus 12 years of experience OR a minimum of 15 years of experience Strong experience with AWS (C2S or GovCloud), CI/CD tools, and DevOps practices Proficiency in Linux systems, networking, and system administration Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.) Hands-on experience with OS installation, configuration, and performance tuning Ability to resolve complex system issues and communicate/escalate effectively Must hold an active US Government

Salary Range:
$190,000-210,000 (based on experience)
