The Search Thematic Advertising Experiences team within Sponsored Products is re-imagining how customers discover products and engage with brands through generative AI. We continuously explore new contexts and creatives where advertising delivers value to both shoppers and advertisers — building globally across Amazon.com and beyond. You'll translate business and scientific requirements into robust, maintainable software solutions, build APIs and data pipelines, and instrument systems to measure how shoppers and advertisers respond to changes. • Build large-scale, low-latency distributed systems that power natural language understanding, personalization, and ML-driven ad experiences
• Partner with the science team to design, build, test, and deploy production systems serving machine learning models at scale
• Build ML infrastructure and data processing pipelines that support new advertising experiences globally
• Design, build, and operate key pieces of customer-facing functionality for hundreds of millions of shoppers
• Translate business and scientific requirements into robust APIs and maintainable software solutions

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• Experience programming with at least one software programming languagePreferred Qualifications
• 4+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
