Overview In this role you'll join a 7-person team supporting a standalone, specialized mission network at IV&V in Fairmont, WV, owning software packaging, deployment and patching for all workstations and applications at the center (100 to 200 users and growing). Requirements:

12+ years of professional IT experience with 5+ years of hands-on Windows application packaging, patch management, and software deployment experience utilizing Quest KACE or Microsoft

MECM/SCCM

3+ years of PowerShell and VBScript scripting for custom install actions and automation Hands-on Flexera AdminStudio experience for MSI packaging or BigFix for administration Ability to obtain Public Trust clearance (investigative background check w/ fingerprinting)

Preferred Skills:

Deep Windows Server/Client administration background (Active Directory, GPOs, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP) SharePoint site administration and Power Automate/Power Apps workflows Linux experience in addition to Windows Active Public Trust or Secret clearance

Responsibilities:

Support and maintain 100+ software applications across IV&V workstations and VDI Create, modify, and optimize MSI packages and MST transforms; repackage legacy and .exe installs into clean silent-install MSIs Develop PowerShell and VBScript custom actions for complex configurations and registry changes Debug installation errors, analyze logs, resolve conflicts, and test packages on clean VMs Administer

KACE SMA

appliance maintenance, agent deployment, Smart Labels, KScripts, discovery/inventory, compliance reporting and Service Desk ticketing workflows Maintain BigFix infrastructure, build Fixlets and Action Scripts, manage third-party patching and generate compliance reports Test and push application updates (Chrome, Firefox, etc.) to keep the network patched and compliant Manage the IT Services SharePoint site and Power Automate workflows if necessary (secondary) Support occasional after-hours work as needed
