Job Description

About Us Classic Recreation Systems designs and manufactures standard and custom outdoor shade and shelter structures installed throughout the United States. As we grow, we are investing in the systems, automation, and technology that support our operations, and we are looking for a person to lead that work. The Role This is a management role at the center of how we design, quote, and build. At its heart is our drawings automation: in-house software, written in C# and driving Autodesk Inventor, that generates production drawings at speed. You will lead that automation program, keep it documented and version controlled, and build the internal capability behind it. From there, you will manage the wider business systems that surround it. This is a systems management role. You will direct technical resources and build internal capability rather than personally performing every task. What You Will Lead and Manage The drawings automation program (C# / Autodesk Inventor): strategy, direction, and continuous improvement. The systems and automation roadmap, prioritized with leadership across every department. The ERP and purchasing data, overseeing and developing the purchasing coordinator who runs it day to day. The quoting and pricing tools, kept accurate, and version controlled (pricing itself is set by leadership). Company forms and digital workflows, built on Microsoft Power Apps and Power Automate with SQL. The company website and the system functions behind lead capture and reporting. Management reporting and data quality across our business systems. The relationship with our external IT service provider. What We Are Looking For Required Experience leading or managing business systems in a manufacturing, engineering, or operational environment. A strong understanding of how business systems integrate, so ERP, quoting, forms, web, and reporting work as one connected system. Enough technical and coding literacy to direct an automation program and manage technical resources and providers. Excellent organizational, communication, and documentation skills, and the ability to manage priorities across departments. Strongly Preferred The ability to read and understand C# in an Autodesk Inventor environment. Working knowledge of the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate) and SQL. Experience with ERP systems and business reporting. Why Join Us Stable, growing, family-owned manufacturer. A role with real responsibility and visible impact on how the company operates and grows. Direct interaction with company leadership. Competitive compensation, with flexibility for an exceptional candidate.
