The Performance EPM team is looking for an experienced Engineering Program Manager to lead highly cross-functional efforts delivering exceptional user experience across all Apple platforms. This position will require driving performance initiatives across various software and hardware focused features and engaging with engineering teams to evangelize best practices and pursue improvements. This role requires an energetic and motivated individual with strong communication and organizational skills, as well as an ability to influence a large cross-functional decisions. Description We are looking for someone to drive, own, and ship all aspects of large, multi-functional efforts and feature areas. Partner with engineering teams throughout feature development from architecture, design, implementation, and validation. Proactively identify, prioritize, and drive resolution to program issues. Present and communicate new feature initiatives, top issues, risks, critical achievements to executive leadership. Own the roadmap, priorities, prioritization, timelines, for technologies. Help the team with ongoing improvements to the program management processes. Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Operations, and Marketing team. Minimum Qualifications 5+ years of program management experience in software and hardware development 5+ years of experience shipping customer-facing software and hardware features from concept through delivery Strong understanding of and experience in managing complex, multi-functional software and hardware projects Strong technical understanding of operating systems and how the various layers in the software stack fit together Preferred Qualifications Outstanding communication and presentation skills to engineers, managers, and execs Identifying risks, developing mitigation strategies, and facilitating resolutions Excellent spoken and concise written communication Ability to build relationships and influence others Strong understanding of and experience in managing complex, multi-functional software programs Sound technical foundation and a highly motivated self-starter Pay & Benefits At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $141,800 and $258,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan. You'll also receive benefits including: Comprehensive medical and dental coverage, retirement benefits, a range of discounted products and free services, and for formal education related to advancing your career at Apple, reimbursement for certain educational expenses — including tuition. Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary bonuses or commission payments as well as relocation.
