Manager, Software Engineering

POSITION DUTIES

Help manage the evolution of the companys Talent Acquisition platform. Work with talented engineers across all product teams to ensure that near-term engineering decisions align with the overall platform strategy. Gain a thorough understanding of the entire technology platform including data storage, APIs, user-facing applications, and asynchronous subsystems. Influence architectural decisions within the development teams, ensuring that near-term technology decisions are consistent with overall architectural strategy. Lead and participate in design reviews with senior engineering team members. Research and recommend technology options regarding software stack, vendors, and architectural patterns. Collaborate with senior engineers and product owners throughout the R D organization on strategies to create a holistic talent acquisition technology platform.

DEGREE REQUIREMENTS

Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Computer/Software/Electrical Engineering, Information Technology or related field.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

5 years of progressively responsible post-baccalaureate work experience in the job offered or related occupation.

OTHER SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

Building and maintaining complex software systems, including legacy systems; building products within public-cloud ecosystems, AWS; coding experience on full-stack web applications; mobile apps experience; managing software development teams; and technologies such as AWS, .NET, Node.js, SQL/Hadoop, Ruby, and Angular.
