The US base salary range for this full-time position is $262,000-$365,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities Define a visionary roadmap for XR Interfaces powered by AI conversational agents, balancing innovation, user research, and industry trends to push the boundaries of how users interact with headsets and glasses. Collaborate with the broader Applied AI teams, XR developer team, Application teams and Deepmind teams to align development with real-world use cases and challenges. Maintain an approach to software design, architecture, and coding standards to ensure the highest quality and scalability of XR's AI-driven system interface. Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. 8 years of experience in software development. 7 years of experience with full stack development, across back-end such as Java, Python, GO, or C++ codebases, and front-end including JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, CSS or equivalent. 5 years of experience in a technical leadership role. 5 years of experience in a people management or team leadership role.Preferred qualifications:
Master's degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field. 5 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization. 7 years of experience building and developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks or experience with compute technologies, storage or hardware architecture. 5 years of experience with design and architecture; and testing/launching software products.
