Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Engineering Manager to lead our diverse engineering teams in delivering innovative technology solutions. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the design, development, and deployment of complex software systems, ensuring alignment with strategic goals. Your leadership will drive the development of scalable IT infrastructure, web applications, and APIs that power our global operations. Duties Lead and inspire cross-functional engineering teams focused on software development, web development, and infrastructure projects. Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of application development using languages such as Java, C#, Python, C++, and JavaScript, ensuring high quality and timely delivery. Manage cloud-based infrastructure on platforms like AWS and Azure, optimizing performance, security, and cost-efficiency. Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and integrations utilizing tools such as React Express, ensuring seamless communication between systems. Implement Agile methodologies to facilitate iterative development cycles, continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD), and rapid response to changing requirements. Establish coding standards and review processes using version control systems like GitHub, SVN, and Git to uphold code quality. Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions while maintaining focus on scalability and security protocols such as RBAC (Role-Based Access Control). Drive innovation by exploring emerging technologies in quantum engineering, application security, and advanced database management with MySQL, SQL Server, or similar systems. Requirements Proven experience managing engineering teams in a fast-paced environment with a focus on software development lifecycle management. Strong expertise in IT infrastructure management across cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure. Extensive knowledge of programming languages including Python, JavaScript, C#, C++, Java, VBA, and C for application development across various platforms including Linux and Windows. Hands-on experience with web development frameworks like React Express and RESTful API design principles. Familiarity with version control systems such as GitHub, SVN, and Git for collaborative development workflows. Solid understanding of database management using MySQL or SQL Server along with SQL query optimization techniques. Experience implementing security best practices including RBAC (Role-Based Access Control) for safeguarding sensitive data. Knowledge of Agile methodologies to promote efficient project execution; certification in Scrum or similar is a plus. Ability to lead cross-disciplinary teams working on front-end development (JavaScript/React), back-end services (.NET), application integration (APIs), and infrastructure automation. Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
