Job Description
Seeking a Manager of Software Engineering for great direct hire opportunity in financial industry. Will manage a team of software engineers in developing financial software, mainly in .NET, Java and Cloud environments. This is a technical hands on management role so need to have come from a software development background and understand full-lifecycle development in Agile and Waterfall environments. Will manage projects, execution and delivery of applications.
Required:
10+ years overall IT 5 years in a management capacity Experience in .NET (C#.NET) or JAVA development Strong database experience (DB2, SQL, Oracle, Sybase, etc.) Bachelor's degreeDesired:
Agile, Waterfall Experience in transformation: Moving .NET platforms to more current technologies. DevOps or DevSecOps practices GitHub, Fortify Banking or Financial systems Cloud (AWS or Azure) CI/CDSimilar remote jobs
