Job Title Director of Software Engineering About your role: At Fiserv, we are at the forefront of financial services technology, transforming the way our clients do business. As a Director of Software Development I, you will lead a team of talented developers to create cutting-edge solutions that address complex business challenges. Your role will involve strategic planning, project management, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality software applications. What you'll do: Lead and manage a team of developers, providing direction and guidance to ensure successful project delivery. Oversee the design, development, and implementation of software applications that align with Fiserv's strategic goals. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure timely and on-budget delivery. Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities for team members. Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment. Responsibilities listed are not intended to be all-inclusive and may be modified as necessary. Experience you'll need to have: 8+ years of experience in software development and programming 4+ years of experience leading teams 4+ years of experience in Java, C, C#, C++, or similar programming languages 4+ years of experience in SQL databases 4+ years of experience in AWS, Azure, or GCP services 4+ years of experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices 4+ years of experience with Agile methodologies 8+ years of an equivalent combination of educational background, related experience, and/or military experience Experience that would be great to have: Experience in the financial services industry Salary Range $146,000.00 - $244,800.00 These pay ranges apply to employees in New Jersey and New York. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ. It is unlawful to discriminate against a prospective employee due to the individual's status as a veteran. For incentive eligible associates, the successful candidate is eligible for an annual incentive opportunity which may be delivered as a mix of cash bonus and equity awards in the Company's sole discretion.
