Work you'll do As a Delivery Manager, Software Engineering, on the GPS HST Technology team, you will be responsible for... Designing, developing, testing, and implementing software applications and technical solutions aligned to business and mission needs Translating functional and technical requirements into application features, system enhancements, and production-ready code Supporting system integration, defect resolution, performance improvement, and application maintenance activities Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, and client stakeholders, to deliver project milestones Contributing to solution documentation, sprint planning, code reviews, and deployment activities across the software development lifecycle A successful candidate would possess these skills: Ability to work independently and collaborate as part of a team Effective written and verbal communication skills Meticulous attention to detail and quality of work product Ability to build and sustain professional relationships Ability to lead projects or workstreams Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced and dynamic environment Strong interpersonal skills and professional demeanor Ability to meet deadlines Ability to provide clear guidance to others The team Deloitte's Government and Public Services practice serves federal, state, and local government clients, as well as public higher education institutions, on complex mission-focused priorities. Within this practice, GPS HST Technology professionals bring capabilities across strategy, technology, and operations to help improve service delivery, operational performance, and constituent outcomes.

Qualifications Required:

Bachelor's degree 7+ years of software engineering, application development, or systems implementation experience 4+ years of experience with at least one programming language such as Java, C#, JavaScript, Python, or SQL 4+ years of experience in software development lifecycle delivery using Agile or Scrum methods 2+ year of experience with application testing, debugging, and production support Ability to travel 0-20%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve Limited immigration sponsorship may be available

Preferred:
