  • + Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or a related field and 8 years of progressive post-baccalaureate, experience in the job offered or in a Manager, Software Engineer, Site Reliability Engineering-related occupation.
+ Alternatively, will accept a Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or a related field, and 6 years of experience in the job offered or in a Manager, Software Engineer, Site Reliability Engineering-related occupation. + Position requires 6 years of experience in the following: Software development in one or more programming languages or Code evaluation and software optimization; Design, analysis, and troubleshooting of distributed systems or Systems architecture optimization for testability, performance, and reliability; Team management and personnel development or Performance feedback and coaching; Conflict resolution for escalated issues or Partnership management with stakeholders and decision-makers; and System risk management regarding dependencies and features or Technical judgment for evaluating engineering solutions.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $255,700 - $300,000 + 20% bonus target + equity + benefits determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.   • Responsibilities
  • + Lead a team of engineers to maintain service uptime while managing global on-call rotations and evaluating technical contributions.
+ Design and deliver software that optimizes availability, scalability, and efficiency while building automation to prevent problem recurrence. + Develop and execute mid-term technical roadmaps that align with future infrastructure needs and prioritize engineering excellence. + Guide system architecture by vetting designs, breaking down complex problems, and assessing trade-offs to ensure coherent solutions. + Oversee cross-team engineering projects and improve operational practices to drive reliability, maintainability, and stakeholder alignment. Mentor team members and drive organizational growth through active participation in hiring, training, and community development initiatives.
