Job Description

A mission-driven nonprofit educational foundation in the DC metro area looking to hire a Salesforce Engineering Manager. This role requires a hands-on Salesforce development background, along with experience managing a small team (4 engineers), working with senior leaders, and handling stakeholders. You'll oversee software development across the SDLC, including planning and delivery of projects and enhancements. Experience with DevOps tools like Flosum or Copado is a plus. This is a hybrid role requiring 1 day/week in their DC office
Requirements:
Lead and manage end-to-end software development across the SDLC, including planning, coordination, and delivery of projects, enhancements, and change requests. Act as a hands-on Senior Salesforce Developer, contributing to configuration and development (Apex, LWC, Flows) as needed. Oversee internal and external development teams, participating in scrum ceremonies to ensure high-quality delivery on time and within budget. Partner with DevOps team to ensure best practices, leveraging tools like Copado or Flosum to manage releases, deployments, and CI/CD processes. Partner with product managers, business stakeholders, and IT teams to ensure smooth delivery, successful releases, and transition into ongoing support.
Certifications:
Platform Developer I, Platform Developer II (highly desired) Excellent written and communication skills, team player This is a role that requires you to be in their DC office once a week (4 days remote / week).
