We are seeking a strategic and experienced Senior Manager, Software Engineering, with 8+ years of software engineering experience and 3+ years in management to lead our software engineering team responsible for our core Order Management System (OMS) platform. In this role, you will balance operational excellence with strategic vision—ensuring our existing order processing engine remains rock-solid while leading a multi-year architectural modernization toward a cloud-native, event-driven ecosystem. You will partner closely with Product, Retail, Supply Chain, and Fulfillment leadership to drive high-throughput transaction execution and seamless omni-channel experiences. Deep OMS Domain Experience:

5+ years of hands-on experience building, scaling, and maintaining enterprise-grade Order Management Systems (e.g., IBM Sterling OMS, Blue Yonder, Manhattan Active Omni, or custom microservices OMS).

Omni-Channel Experience:

Proven track record supporting complex fulfillment workflows, including Buy Online Pick Up In Store (BOPIS), Ship-from-Store (SFS), curbside pickup, and reverse logistics

Modern Architectural Patterns:

Experience with cloud-native applications (AWS/GCP/Azure), event-driven architecture utilizing message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ, or EventBridge), REST/GraphQL APIs, and microservices patterns. Deep understanding of software development processes, agile methodologies, and modern engineering practices at scale. Excellent strategic thinking, project management, and execution skills. Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management abilities. Strong technical acumen with the ability to guide architectural decisions and resolve complex technical challenges. Experience with resource planning, budget management, and strategic hiring. Ability to drive change and foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. Understanding of cloud technologies, scalable architectures, and DevOps principles. Strong business awareness and ability to translate business needs into technical strategies. Strong understanding of financial implications in decision-making, ensuring responsible use of company resources.
