Software Engineering Manager (OOJ - 44125) 132000-165000 / US Dollars / Annual Salary NPAworldwide Recruitment Network update Last updated: Mar/27/2026 Job Description Drive the delivery of production-grade APIs, integrations, and AI/ML-enabled services within the Interoperability & API Engineering team. Serve as the technical anchor for a dedicated team while enabling broader organizational scaling. Architect solutions, mentor engineers, build proof of concepts (PoCs), enforce engineering excellence, and ensure secure, compliant, scalable, and high-performing systems aligned with healthcare and organizational standards. Shape secure, compliant, production-grade systems that power care for vulnerable seniors. Make decisions that directly affect healthcare delivery, compliance, and participant outcomes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; master's degree preferred. Minimum of eight (8) years in software engineering, with at least three (3) years in a team leader or senior engineering capacity. Minimum of two (2) years of hands-on experience with AI/ML, Azure AI Foundry, AI Foundry agents, or related AI integration frameworks. Strong hands-on experience with Python and/or Node.js for API engineering and data integrations; knowledge of Microsoft Azure tools stack is a must. Prior experience in healthcare, interoperability, or API-heavy environments is a must. Proficiency in REST/GraphQL API design, microservices patterns, authentication/authorization (OAuth2, JWT, Entra ID), and event-driven architectures. Familiarity with MLOps tools (Azure ML, MLflow, Databricks) and container ecosystems. Experience with interoperability standards such as FHIR, HL7, EDI, or clinical integration workflows is highly preferred. Why is This a
