Software Engineering Manager As a Software Engineering Manager here at Honeywell, you will lead and manage multiple software engineering teams to deliver innovative aerospace software solutions. You will provide strategic and technical leadership to ensure successful project execution, drive adoption of new technologies, and continuously improve software development processes. You will report directly to our Director of Engineering, and you'll work out of our Clearwater, FL location on a hybrid work schedule. In this role, you will impact the advancement of aerospace software products that enhance operational efficiency, safety, and sustainability across the aviation industry, supporting airlines, MROs, and OEMs with cutting-edge digital solutions. Responsibilities Lead and oversee multiple software engineering teams, ensuring effective project execution and delivery within aerospace domain Provide strategic input to the development of the software engineering roadmap aligned with business goals Collaborate cross-functionally with senior managers to align software development strategies with overall aerospace business objectives Drive continuous improvement in software development processes, tools, and methodologies Act as a key interface between software engineering teams and upper management Train and mentor test software development leads to help assure high quality delivery of test software products on time and within budget Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics 6+ years of experience leading software development projects, preferably in aerospace or related industries Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C++, and Python Experience with software development tools, version control systems, and continuous integration/deployment pipelines Deep knowledge of software development, best practices, design patterns, and architecture principles

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.
