We are looking for a hands-on DevOps Manager to lead an engineering team while remaining actively involved in software development and technical delivery. This is a development-focused role, not an operations-focused management position. What You'll Do Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers while remaining hands-on with coding Design and build software, backend services, APIs, and cloud-native applications Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub/GitHub Actions Provide technical leadership across software architecture, system design, and engineering practices Partner with engineering teams to improve development velocity, automation, and software quality Review code, troubleshoot complex technical issues, and contribute to production systems Help evaluate and implement technologies that improve scalability and engineering productivity What You'll Bring 6+ years of software engineering experience 2+ years of technical leadership or engineering management experience Strong, current programming experience with Python, Java, or Go/Golang Must be actively coding and comfortable contributing to production software Strong background in backend development, APIs, microservices, or distributed systems Experience with GitHub and CI/CD pipelines, preferably GitHub Actions Strong understanding of system design and software architecture Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform Experience with Docker/Kubernetes is a plus Strong communication, problem-solving, and mentoring skills
