Candidates typically bring:

Experience leading software development or application-focused teams Insurance, financial services, banking, or other regulated industry experience A background working with modern Microsoft-based application environments Expertise guiding development projects from concept through deployment and ongoing support Experience building or improving development standards, delivery processes, and governance practices Exposure to cloud technologies, application integration, and automated delivery pipelines Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities The ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders Experience operating in complex, regulated, or enterprise environments A collaborative leadership style with a focus on coaching and accountability Success in this role includes balancing technical leadership with people leadership while helping teams deliver reliable solutions that create measurable business value.
