Position:
The Quality Assurance Analyst is responsible for validating the quality of web, mobile, and desktop applications. Collaborating closely with agile development teams, this role involves designing and executing scripted tests to guarantee the release of high-quality products. The ideal candidate for this position should excel in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, bringing strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to excellence in software development.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Execute test cases accurately and document test results comprehensively. Identify, log, and track software defects using bug tracking systems. Adhere to established Quality Assurance (QA) processes and standards. Conduct functional, regression, and system testing to ensure software quality. Collaborate in the development of test plans and the creation of test cases. Ability to use AI tools to support Quality Assurance activities.

Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree with a preference for majors in Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS), Mathematics, or fields related to accounting, required; or 4+ years' experience with quality assurance (QA) testing or working with transportation management systems (TMS), required. Experience in software customer support and extensive experience with testing complex web-based software, including mobile applications across various platforms and browsers are preferred. Intermediate or advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, required. Proficiency in test plan management software and spreadsheet applications. Experience in testing web services and Application Programming Interfaces (API). Familiarity with executing and understanding relational database queries using SQL. Why McLeod?
