Full Job Description Job Description:
Position will provide support to the MDA's Test Directorate, Consolidated Flight Test Organization in support of the test planning and execution of the Space Based Interceptor program. Candidate will conduct pre-mission analysis, mission execution support and post-mission data analyses to include: Supporting the development of post-flight Best-Estimate-Trajectories (BETs) of critical trajectory objects via integration of available truth data from telemetry, radar, and optical sources Development of predictions for flight test data collection platforms Perform model and data analysis to include object characterization, monte-carlo trajectory simulation and trajectory data fusion to assist in post-flight test reviews Prepare and present pre-flight and post-flight truth data planning and results
Desired Skills:
Experience with Missile Defense Agency (MDA) organization and Missile Defense System (MDS) designs, performance and testing Experience with MATLAB, Python, Java, and/or other programming languages General knowledge of industry standard trajectory/radar/optical prediction codes Understanding of waveforms, polarizations and applications for radar data
Education:
BA/BS in a field pertinent to the position being filled. Three years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for the BA/BS degree requirement
Experience:
7 years relevant experience. Experience with DoD testing desired. Experience with DoD test execution desired
Clearance:
Minimum Secret clearance required
