Required Skills:
Extensive experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs (ControlLogix, CompactLogix), RTUs, and HMIs Proficiency in PLC programming using Studio 5000 (Ladder, Function Block, Structured Text) Strong diagnostic skills in instrumentation, loop tuning, and troubleshooting automation systems Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, wiring diagrams, and control narratives Experience supporting automation across well pads, batteries, and compressor stations Familiarity with SAP or other CMMS tools for maintenance tracking Knowledge of Ethernet/IP, Modbus, and analog/discrete I/O Nice to
Have Skills:
Experience with FactoryTalk View HMI development Knowledge of Control Systems Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS) Certifications in automation or instrumentation
Preferred Education and Experience:
Associate degree in Instrumentation, Automation, or related field OR GED with equivalent experience 3+ years as an Automation Specialist 3+ years of oil & gas operations experience
Other Requirements:
